Jack and Cynthia are some of the nicest professors you will find at Marshall. Seriously, they are super nice. They sometimes even bring avocados or other gifts for students. The content itself is very different to other Marshall classes, more similar to a law classes. Professionally, it's probably only useful for people going into Wealth Management. However, you will learn a lot that is useful for your own personal life when it comes to inheritance, gifts and tax savings. So far, the work load of the class is light and test are not difficult. I recommend the class!

Jack and Cynthia co-teach the class. It's lecture style, very straightforward. A few quizzes and a final, otherwise very minimal work. If you're looking to learn more about tax law, trusts and wills for your general knowledge this is a great class. They really know their stuff and do a good job of breaking down the concepts.

This class is incredibly helpful although the professor is asnore fest. Take it online so you can listen to the classes at 3x speed. The class will walk you through trusts, wills, inheritance, etc. It provides tips around financial planning for marriage, death, divorce, etc. Even if you don't have family wealth to think about now, at some point you will likely need to understand subjects taught in this class. While a bit boring, the real world application has been incredibly beneficial.
