Fun class, a little disorganized. The activities we do are cool and the professor is hilarious.

Professor Knapp is incredibly enthusiastic and a great resource for those interested in starting their own business. The class, however, wasn't as academic as I believe a MBA level class should be. The primary takeaway I had from this class was that becoming an entrepreneur is hard work but possible for anyone. I want a class like this to focus more on the actual steps that must be done (idea generation, types of funding, stakeholder interviews, etc.) and less on the general story of starting a new business.

A very lively professor teaching an excellent course. Hands on entrepreneurial projects and real life entrepreneurs coming in to give guest lectures. Definitely 3 this class to everyone.

Great prof! Learn a lot about starting your own business. He brings in a lot of great speakers. HOWEVER, there is a lot of work involved. He put a full semester of work into a half semester class.

Great class but go into it knowing the golden rule about entrepreneurship...its about getting sh*t done! If you're not interested in hustling to get something to market and putting yourself out there don't bother. Tommy is awesome and makes this very clear. This class is all about energy so don't take it as a schedule filler or you'll just be taking away from your fellow classmates and you also won't learn anything practical so it will be a waste of your money.

Still very early in the class so it is hard to know. The professor's personality isn't my favorite but he clearly knows what he is talking about and provides many opportunities to learn in useful ways as opposed to just talking at students as so many professors do.

A little bit tightly packed, but a good introduction and exposure. Glad I am taking it. Class is also engaging.

Knapp has applicable professional experience having built a company from the ground up and through his current role of investing in new ventures. The class content could have been more applicable, but overall I had a positive experience with the course.

This is a great class, Tommy is VERY engaging and just a good contact to have. I had the opportunity to meet & grab a drink with Bob McKnight, Founder of Quiksilver, who was a guest speaker in this class. This is a great class, it's not for lazy people, so don't take it if you just want an "easy class". I was very impressed by the ideas that many of my classmates had & I appreciated Tommy's high receptiveness to student feedback.

Meh. Started strong, but focused mainly on apparel and retail strategies. Also, not really management. Literally just a reduced version of Intro to New Ventures. Not my favorite.
