Really great guest speakers for search funds. Would HIGHLY recommend if considering ETA and also consider if you're thinking of buying a small business. Great information on have to value a small-mid size business and risks to look out for.

The course name is somewhat misleading. It should really be an FBE class called Private Equity rather than a BAEP class about acquiring your own opportunity.

Gives the basics of what it takes to acquire a business and deliver value. Great course, but the professor is rather full of himself and tells the same 4 stories over and over. He doesn't really care about the students and is there more to make connections with the speakers for his own business ventures.

If you are looking to buy a business this class everything you have to know. From different forms of raising the funds required to understanding the legal part and accounting details. / The best part of the class is that every class there is a guest speaker (Private Equity Firms, I-bankers, Search Funds, Entrepreneurs, Other firms that help people find business, brokers, lawyers, etc). / The down side is that it is at night and at times it gets hard to focus.
