This is not a class for MBAs. This is only useful for people trying to become analysts/business analytics students. Amy moves too fast and the course itself is mostly useless. The class averaged a 47% on the final.

I was a bit disappointed with this course but I that was more due to the professor than the content. Amy Ward is very nice but she didn't really communicate the material in a business sense. It was very heavy on complex statistics jargon.

Good class to understand the basics of probability and minimal data modeling. Class is really easy and expectations are pretty low. Nonetheless, a good class to get your feet wet in Data Analysis and Modeling.

I didn't find this information terribly useful. She overcomplicated concepts while teaching. I'm still not sue how to implement what I learned.

This was the first time this class has been offered so it may change in the future. Be warned! You need to have a decent Calculus background though. If you don't remember how to do integrals and differentials, then you better take a refresher course. It's a lot of theory. The practical application of this class seems to be low.

The class was new this year -- hopefully it will be reformulated to make it more applicable. As it was, it was dry and esoteric will little examples to tie in-class concepts to real-world application.

class was solid in that it covered modeling scenarios. It got a bit technical at times, which rubbed some students the wrong way. But in Amy's defense, you can't just teach students how to press a button for a model without understanding the underlying mechanics.

Way too mathematical and in the weeds.

You should only take this class if you want to be a statistician and you are very good with numbers

This class is too theoretical, and the professor has made few attempts to make it useful for MBAs. If you want to deep-dive into probability and learn a bit of calculus, without knowing how to apply it, only then go for it!

The course is geared more to students studying for PhD in the field, less what would be relevant to an MBA. It is a new course, so she plans to rework based on feedback.

Great professor. This is a good class to improve excel skills and dealing with data. Somewhat too theoretical, but eventually gets there in terms of practicality.
