Spring 2024 · Pahwa, Ash · 3 units
Pahwa is a niche professor in terms of what he teaches. It can be an easy A (although for MSBA classes the curve must be tight so it's not a guarantee). This class teaches a classic book on the topic, and all the techniques are produced in Python on Colab. Great to train Python muscles. It is super niche: perhaps for people wanting to go into cybersecurity, but then too it is not an MBA-like class. The biggest takeaway for me was that I was able to use TensorFlow, which is the library used to write machine learning code. One homework per week, due Monday. Doable for the most part. No mid term though and only a final exam, which is multiple choice.
