It's a pretty laid back course with a very impressive instructor who's an MD at Lincoln Capital. He brings in interesting guest speakers and the class is graded generously.

Minimal assignments with pretty easy grading and one midterm that was graded fairly. Ideal class for someone going into investment banking. Making connection with professor (Brian Little) is one of the selling points; he is super approachable and makes lectures interesting with guest speakers and humor spread throughout.

Really easy course and covers the basics of sell-side M&A banking process. More like a career exploration course but doesn't go deeper on the different facets of IB since it's only 6 weeks long.

1) If you are unfamiliar with investment banking, this class is a great introduction. Walks through each step of a middle-market investment banking deal. 2) Professors are passionate and knowledgeable, but lack academic professionalism in terms of class time management, using cold calls rather than "stop me if I'm going to fast" to assess student learning, and other standards of high-quality education. They created a great course structure that familiarizes students, and they are very available despite their full-time work at their respective investment banks. 3) Industry insight high. Workload expectations average.
