Fall 2022 · Stone, Sheldon · 1.5 units
The professor is world-renowned and lives up to the reputation. An incredible course delving into the depths of the credit world. Extremely valuable course for anyone seeking a career in the finance industry.
Fall 2022 · Stone, Sheldon · 1.5 units
Highly recommended. You will be learning about high yield credit from one of the pioneers in the space. This was probably the most memorable expierence in my entire academic history. The material is not easy, but if you are interested in a career in investment management, then you will derive considerable benefit from the contents of this course.
Fall 2022 · Stone, Sheldon · 1.5 units
Most impressive class at Marshall.
Fall 2022 · Stone, Sheldon · 1.5 units
This is one of the most impressive classes you can take at Marshall. Professor Stone has an incredible track record and provides an immense amount of information in a short, half semester period. He takes what should be a boring topic (High Yield Debt and Private Credit more broadly) and makes it fun and engaging.
Spring 2020 · Stone, Sheldon · 1.5 units
One of the best classes. Sheldon Stone is a great person who comes voluntarily to teach SIF students (only) about the HY market, ways to analyze firms, and important concepts in general. Personal, interesting and engaged class.
Spring 2017 · Campbell, Little · 1.5 units
Best class I have taken at Marshall or any college for that matter. To have two investment banking professional that are in the middle of their career was a tremendous opportunity for learning, networking, and gaining relevant information. Most professors are either lifelong academics or have been retired for many years. Having two professionals that are up to date on information and present the information in a modern way made this class for exceed my expectations.

Professor is one of the founder of Oaktree. It's a great learning opportunity.
