MKT 551 - From Strategy to Execution: User Experience (UX) and Design

the prof is very nice and helps the students a lot. focus on more technical skills like figma would have been better. the prof sometimes loses track of the slides but is overall very knowledgeable

I do think this is super useful information, especially if you're heading into tech. I think the class lectures/discussions are a bit messy, but still some interesting takeaways.

Relevant material for tech-focused business people, but certainly could be taught much better. Prof seems quite disorganized, but the assignment structure is relatively rigorous (graded on completion for most part). Limited teaching of actual real life tools like Figma even though we are expected to understand how to use them. Midterm requires some studying, but should be relatively easy to learn.

I believe this was the first time this class was taught to grad students. The professor has previously taught it to undergrads. Maybe it's partially because grad students didn't have a lot of prior experience with Figma, but the class felt pretty disorganized, and we don't build a lot of technical skills. There is a semesterlong project for a real-world client. The individual assignments and exams are very easy.
