She somewhat reduced the workload of the course for a 1.5 credit class, however, it's still a lot. I don't think I learned too much from her and her preso style isn't the best, but her speakers were pretty good. I'd recommend sitting in on the first class or getting a hold of the syllabus, dropping the class, and then only showing up for the guest speakers.

Very good guest speakers. Very candid discussion around the CMO job and AI use.

It is a speaker driven class and the professor brings in real CMOs from companies spanning various industries. Upside - the course is useful if you are looking for networking opportunities in Marketing. Downside - it won't really teach new marketing concepts as it is guest speaker driven.

This is a great class so far and Dr. Badame is an excellent teacher. She is engaging, passionate, and extremely knowledgable. As so many others have said, she brings in amazing and RELEVANT guest speakers. In just the first 3 weeks of class we've heard from more c-level executives than I did all year last year. She mentioned she reduced the amount of workload based on feedback from last year. It doesn't seem too bad so far, mainly weekly readings, a group project (researching and presenting on that week's guest CMO's company) and an individual project.

Amazing class! Dr. Badame brings in amazing guest speakers. It was so interesting and unique to hear from so many CMOs across different industires, and learn about their career paths and what their priorities are in their organizations. Badame organizes readings to reflect the topics that each CMO wants to discuss, and the readings are actually current and relevant. Workload was about average, I think she said she reduced it compared to prior years.

THIS CLASS HAD MORE WORK THAN SOME 3 CREDIT CLASSES. This mis-match made me regret taking the course. It was neat to have access to top firms' CMOs (like Facebook, CBRE, Hyperloop, etc.) but the course work is too damn high.

A lot of great speakers coming to the classes and the topics for each class are really updated to what happened on the world right now. As for homework ... hum... not few... but I still think it worthy. I would strongly recommend it to classmates who know nothing about marketing. this will help you a lot.

Caliber of CMOs speaking to the class each week was amazing (Facebook, Beats by Dre, etc.)!
