For your end-of-semester deliverable, you and your group are to actually develop an app/website, get some beta users to test/use it, and present to some guest speakers. In the process of developing app/website, you'll learn skills to do wireframing, prototyping, etc. Throughout the course, there's many guest speakers that come. You also have the opportunity to eat dinner with ONE of the guest speakers before class on the same day (this will happen in a small group setting). Really unique aspect of the class. Gordon & Nan (the professors) have great connections. The professors encourage AI use. One thing to be aware though: for the app/website development, your group will actually have to code -- this can be done via SWE on your team who knows coding, but if you do not have a SWE on your team, you might end up using AI to build. This type of AI exists, but you'll be using your own $ as the professors don't subsidize (unless they change that for next semester). Great class to learn some hand-on skills of different cross-functional team that PMs will work with. Who is this class for? People who are pursuing a career in tech. Final Thoughts:

Easy class. Who is this class for? Students going into PM or PMM in tech. Final Thoughts: I enjoy the speak series!

The homework and assignments are manageable, no final exams, but overall I found the class a bit boring and not very engaging Who is this class for? Students with little or no background in tech might find this class more useful. Final Thoughts: While the course aims to be applicable, it can be disappointing if you’re hoping to dive deeper and learn more technical content. Some guest speakers are great—really experienced with strong insights into the tech industry—but the professors themselves don’t seem to have as much practical experience

The course is almost entirely group work, as you are working with a team to take a product from inception to market. Generally there is an individual assignment every other week that takes less than one hour and a team deliverable. Who is this class for? Students with previous product experience or those that have taken MOR 530 that want to be able to add a tangible PM experience to their resume. Final Thoughts: You are not guaranteed to be able to work on the project of your design or choosing. Guest speakers are interesting and generally relevant to the current part of the project you are working on.

Who is this class for? I’d suggest take MOR530 first to learn about product leadership. It’s good for students who want to learn product tools / analytics Final Thoughts: Choose your group wisely since it’s all based on a group project

Because of AI tools, we can easily built the sysytem. if you want to learn how to build system, it might be good choise. but it is not lecture style. you need to learn by yourself. this is just opportunity to learn how actually do we to build apps. team group is important. And if you don't have knowledge about product management process, you might have better MOR530 class
