Very easy class. She's a great person and a sweet lady. Recommend for any who wants to learn how to meditate

Very VERY chill class, with very little work. Professor is very passionate about mindfulness, but you will only get value out of the class if you really want to incorporate meditation in your daily life

Depends on your goal for the class. I was hoping that this class would focus on how to be a better and more mindful leader. This class did not focus on this. It would be more applicable to name the class "into to meditation." There is not much work in this class and readings are pretty much optional. Lots of break out rooms and most of the class is students speaking, not the professor.

This course has a completely insane amount of reading ... not that anyone does it. It is pass/fail and the assignments include 3 1000-word reflection papers and weekly meditation practice logs. The class is a pretty light lift if you just want the credit but honestly probably not worth your tuition dollars.

I found this class to be pretty useless and an easy pass

Very important growing area that can be applied to all industries and functions. Very chill guy and knowledgeable. Unfortunate that some people take this class to slack off and thus aren't seriously interested in learning or benefiting.

I look forward to this class during the week. It's given me a number of ways to deal with the daily frustration that arises due to school and other responsibilities.

This class is super heavy on the 'mindfulness' part and doesn't really emphasize the 'leading' or 'compassion' parts very much. Personally I found it to be an extremely valuable experience as a very over-committed (aren't we all?) first year pursuing consulting. Expect to meditate A LOT. You will learn and practice meditation and self-reflection, and not much else. The exercises really helped me step back and identify the areas of my life I wasn't as satisfied with, and develop an action plan to address them. With how busy we all are, I really appreciated the opportunity to step back and reflect on what's important in life and how I can do a better job focusing on those things. Don't take if: you already have lots of free time; already meditate a lot; really want to focus on business-specific skills as opposed to life skills.

Funny, sweet professor. The class is a great break from other courses, and helps you energize a bit. I found it pretty useful.

If you need a 1.5 credit class, feel free to take this one. The meditation is fun and I do believe you will need it at some time in your life after graduation.
