"Bob's favorite subject is Bob. In a course on board leadership, we've spend more time discussing Bob than we have on the actual inner-working of corporate governance and how to actually get on a board (which is the reason everyone is in this class) The readings are not really discussed, and he leans heavily on Video and presentations to compensate for him not being prepared for class. Take the class because it's easy, but don't expect much "

The course material is perfect of 1/2 semester. You learn about what corporate does and how to make an effective board. I think the class will be useful in 10-15 years (when you are on a board or interacts with board members). She has great energy and amazing guest speakers, but there are heavy loads of cases and reading materials.

Great class to learn about a less talked about but very important subject for business people- boards and how they function. Everyone should take this class. The professor can be a little dry, especially towards the end of the class, but she's really knowledgeable and well connected.
