This class wasn't for me, but partly because I felt it was more geared toward students interested in HR. There were a lot of interesting speakers who came into class, but too much reading in my opinion and I had a hard time staying engaged.

Professor Boudreau is a fantastic professor. He provides clear theories, although the frameworks can be somewhat complex and dry. Once you get past the book reading, the cases are quite interesting. I read one of my all time favorite cases in his class. In addition the group project is meaningful. Another benefit of his class are the guest speakers. They are mostly well-known and C-suite or VP level of large corporations and hearing their insight and making a personal connection is incredible. If you are going into HR or human capital consulting this is a must take. If you are going into any business function and simply want a better view of talent implications whether you will manage them or you see yourself as a pivotal talent, I also recommend this class.

I wouldn't take this class if you're not interested in or planning to go into HR or human capital or some related field. Boudreau has his own frameworks and theories he expects you to understand and use in all of your assignments. Presentation was graded fairly leniently, and the write-ups are all manageable as long as you cater to his ego and use things from his book. Lots of awesome guest speakers, but again, if you're not interested in the subject, this class will be tedious + boring.
