Fall 2022 · Mische, Michael · 3 units
Almost half of every class is spent talking about sports (unrelated to the class). The other half is Professor Mische talking about random things. You won't learn much from him although the readings can be interesting, albeit repetitive. You will still be tested on minute details from the readings despite not discussing it in class. Focus is on innovation, not really on change.

This class is no, not demanding, but it was a COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY. Professor Mische is a nice old guy, but he can't even bring himself to like organize a class, make slides for lectures, organize relevant discussions - he didn't even finish the syllabus until 2 weeks into class and then, it was filled with errors and he changed everything. The midterm and final exam were difficult because he has taught us nothing. I couldn't even tell you one thing I learned in this class. Sure I guess take this class if you just want an easy class and can prevent yourself from remembering the $6k you spent on it. Just embarassing - I expected more from Marshall.

In comparison with classes that are very demanding, this class is the complete opposite. Professor is extremely nice and will try to help you succeed in the class. Made for PM students but I enjoyed some of the readings. Discussions are solely based on whatever he wants to really discuss. KPMG alumni who is super proud of consulting and will talk a lot of about recruiting for consulting. Sometimes eyeroll-inducing content but still worth it for those looking to balance workloadheavy classes.

This class was the single biggest waste of time I have ever spent in graduate school. It should not be offered, the professor should not be teaching. All it would take is 1 person in Marshall leadership to sit in on this class and this thing would be removed from the curriculum. I award it zero points and may god have mercy on it's soul.

Completely unorganized and I don't think I have learned one thing.

This is the worst class I have taken at Marshall. The professor does not stick to the syllabus at all and repeats the same information class after class. He brings in some speakers who were also awful and the cases assigned, while interesting, are never actually discussed.

Complete waste of time. Unstructured and scattered all over the place.

Don't understand what we are supposed to get out of this class
