MOR 558 - Technology Strategy in the Age of AI

Minimal workload. Professor goes over the frameworks over how to think about AI technology. While this is a very, very useful way of thinking about the future of AI, I wish the content was more tangible with more/better real-life cases.

Really interesting course with extremely relevant topics and she brings in awesome guest speakers. Pretty chill course overall, minimal workload!

The professor is very passionate about the subject apart from that the course is pretty dry. I am stil trying to figure out the takeaways of this course. Its a little workload course with lot of guest speakers and student lead discussions. However, I still wouldnt suggest taking this course unless you really want to take a course on AI

Professor is knowledgeable, but is not quite engaging. But it's lightweight. Good to learn a thing or two about tech strategy with no exams to balance out the heavier courses.

I will summarize the best and the worst parts. The worst part is the professor trying too hard to convince people that the course is not technical and has a lot of value. I think she needs to do that in the first lecture and be done with that but it gets annoying when she keeps on wasting time justifying the value of the course instead of actually teaching. She also has a habit of not using the whiteboard despite requesting the same. Now the best part! This course is a out of a very few courses where with time the value of what you learn builds exponentially! But you need to participate in discussions. If you are active in the class and are trying to evaluate things with an open mind, there would be a lot of "aha!" moments. I definitely recommend this course

The prof. knows a lot about Ai and technology but sometimes struggles to explain concepts. Having sid that, if you pay enough attention, there will lots of takeaways and aha moments in the class.
