Worst class ever. Professor is very unorganised. course is not structured and highly not recomended for full time mba students. He caters only to the needs of part time students. Lots and Lots of work to do for every class. He doesnt teach anything but expects you to know everything somehow and finish all assigments. The only thing he talks about in class is his stories and nothing related to course material. You can take this course if you want to suffer for the entire semester.

Voigt assigns an unreasonable amount of work. Proceed with extreme caution. Would say the amount of required work in this class equates to a 5 credit class. Also insists that everyone stays unmuted to faciliate more class interaction...only result is more background noise. [useful field] This class forced me to learn how to a build a mediocre financial model, which I appreciate, however, some of the topics covered in this class feel VERY niche or more relevant for finance people. He loves calling the class "Advanced Strategy" but it sometimes feels like Special Topics in Finance.

This is honestly one of the best courses I've taken at USC. It is so much work but I've learned so much. I cannot speak highly enough about this class. Every consulting and strategy candidate should take it.

This class was a struggle, especially at 6:30-9:30. I had heard so much about Voigt, and I think I had mistakenly thought that what I was hearing was positive. However, I found him very scattered and hard to follow. The tests and assignments are not only riddled with grammatical and spelling errors, they are also just really difficult to understand. He does not set you up for success; rather, he wants you to "try to figure it out" and then proceeds to make a lot of unprompted and really unexplained assumptions when he solves the problem. I see the value of the content, this is just not the class to learn it.

Voigt goes on a tangent every class - he is interesting and the topic of learning scenario analysis can be very useful, but could be taught better
