CNTV 524 - Digital Technologies and the Entertainment Industry

This is the "Hulu" class. Both professors were execs at Hulu, so they have amazing speakers they bring in to speak about various relevant entertainment topics (SVOD, Live Events, etc.)

The guest speakers are on the whole amazing, although some talks are better than others (as is to be expected). The class focuses on the digital disruption in the media space, so it is very timely. The two who lead the class are great as well: one is a partner at Greycroft, the other is at Hulu. A bit light on the business fundamentals, as I'm sure that info is highly confidential, but overall an interesting class.

This is the Hulu class. Also the best class offered at USC. I learned more in this class than any at Marshall (for what I want to go into) and it has shaped the path I wish to take post graduation. If you wish to learn anything about the entertainment industry, digital industry, video games or the future, take this class.
