Do expect quite many group presentations in the course as this is a marketing class. Prof is well connected in the industry so quite a few guest speakers and very good insights from them. Prof is very caring and supportive and gives out constructive feedback after every presentation you do, so it is a rewarding process. Who is this class for? Anyone interested in film and TV marketing Final Thoughts: One of the best classes I have taken in Marshall. A lot of learning and great achievement through groupwork.

There may be some value in the guest speakers, but they are hit or miss. Professor seems to enjoy talking about how he was tangentially involved in one or another movie that we've heard of, and continues to name drop quite shamelessly. I suppose if you had zero experience or knowledge of media and entertainment that the class could be useful, but if you have any experience in the space, do not waste your time/energy/money here. Also, a large portion of the class are non-MBA students, many of whom have the tendency to dominate the discussion in a non-productive way.

This class is entertaining and you get some great speakers. Professor isn't organized.
