MOR 571 - Leadership and Executive Development

Prof. Richmond does not know how to teach any class, let alone an MBA level class. He is a terrible representation of Marshall and this class is completely worthless. You will not learn anything about leadership or executive development. You will read a lot of cases and watch your classmates present the same case discussion 3x per class. 4 avoiding this class until the professor changes.

The professor of the class seems knowledgeable and engaging but the class content is very fluffy and the syllabus lacks a coherent structure.

Unfortunately, this class was absolutely useless.

Had high hopes for this class but it didn't deliver. Prof is teaching the class for the first time and I found it hard to get any learnings from it. Brought in a few good guest speakers though and the project was useful.

This class has some amazing speakers. It is all soft skills, but I think the content is really valuable and the learnings will probably resonate way beyond business school. McCall is also a really good guy and insightful.

First time this teacher is teaching this class. The class has GREAT potential and good cases...but the professor is NOT good. He ruins it.

Had high 3ations from previous class when i took this course, but didn't realize that the professor was changed for our year. Some guest speakers are interesting, but people spend most of his class finishing up with their emails. If you want a fluff course, yes this is perfect. But if you're looking to really get something out of that tuition money, i would advise not to.

very good about leadership traits in business turnaround

Honestly, I had really high expectations for this class but was let down in every way. No direction or clear learning objectives. I don't 3 if Richmond is staying on board.
