Professor Bayiz is such a wonderful professor. He is so nice, helpful, and passionate about the subject. So far the class has moved at a good pace, but I have heard the 2nd half goes a bit quicker. He records the classes so it's easy to go back if he speeds through some topics. The content all seems to be super useful regardless of job function.

Patient, kind, organized, and practical professor. Coursework deals with Microsoft Project, Crystal Ball, and Solver. If we could get courses like this that teach other software, that would be ideal.

Very patient - homework load is reasonable and is mainly just further practice on the concepts learned in class. Very good at explaining core concepts.

Bayiz is a gem that needs to be protected at all costs. Has really adapted to the COVID online learning environment to ensure that the class is engaging and taught at a pace that works for the majority of the class. While there is a homework, it actually reinforces what was learned in class (rather than being completely out of left field). I'm not planning on pursuing a "Project Management"-specific career, so will probably never use Crystal Ball again after this class, but I can see myself utilizing some of the learnings and tools we learn in my target field.

Bayiz is great. The class is the perfect mix of lectures and hands-on learning. The only consideration I would note is that the skills you pick up probably won't be used in the real world unless you work in some form of project management. Overall though an interesting class that anyone would find some value in.

Bayiz is the best professor at Marshall. He is probably top 5 nicest people in the world #1: Ghandi, #2: Mother Teresa, #3: MLK Jr., #4: Murat Bayiz, #5: All of Canada, ...#7.8 Billion: Sean Avery, #7.8 Billion and one: Mitch McConnell. Professor Bayiz really cares about students and whether they are learning the material. The material he covers in this class is real world applicable and he covers a lot of tools that you could use in your future career. Take any class you can with Bayiz.

Professor is the best and keeps the class engaged. He is very good at explaining the concepts and is very invested in each student. The content of the class will be useful for everyone whose work will be project based. The HWs are easy and grading is not at all harsh.

This course is absolutely essential regardless of whatever your target career function/industry is. It is a little coursework heavy and there are deliverables each and every week, but you learn about essential concepts like AGILE methodologies, types of PMO, etc.

Definitely strengthened my PM skills and Professor Bayiz covers essential topics and grades easily. I recommend the online version as the midterm and final are open notes. That said, the week to week courseload is a little heavy.

Even though I took this course over the summer, the content is similar and the grading is easy. He teaches you everything you need to know for the midterms and exams.

This course teaches excellent fundamental project management knowledge that seems like it would be extremely useful if you are going to be working with projects at all. Highly recommend

Class provides intro to project management using tools like excel,MS project, crystal ball. If you are already familiar with these tools, this class may not add much value. Prof is great. keeps the class interesting.
